What is Kotak Kanya Scholarship
Kotak Kanya Scholarship is a CSR project initiated by the Kotak Mahindra Group with an aim to provide financial assistance to underprivileged girl students for pursuing higher education after completing their 12th standard. Kotak Education Foundation along with many other companies will provide financial assistance to girl students to pursue courses like Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Designing, CS, CA, CFA, CWA, and LLB etc.
Box Kanya Scholarship Benefits
Under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship, the beneficiaries will get a scholarship of up to ₹1 lakh per annum which will cover expenses like tuition fee, hostel fee, internet, laptop, books and stationery. The benefit will be deposited directly into the bank account of the girl students.
Kotak Kanya Scholarship Eligibility
The scholarship is open to girl students from across the country who have secured admission in the first year of any professional graduation course, and their annual family income is less than Rs.3 lakh. Applicants must have passed 12th class examination with minimum 75% marks. Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation cannot apply for this scholarship.

Box Kanya Scholarship Renewal Application
Scholarship renewal has to be done after the completion of the first year. This requires you to maintain your academic performance which should be above 6 Grade Point Average (GPA) or 70%. There should not be any dropout from the regular academic sessions and there should not be any disciplinary problem.
